The Full Story

Hi, I'm Renai, and I am so glad you found your way here.  I am a wife, mom of three and someone who understands the struggles and the beauty of family life firsthand.  Like many of you, I have had seasons of joy, but also seasons of brokenness - and it was in those hard places that God lit a fire in me to fight for families.

My journey of faith began in January of 2023 when I gave my life to Jesus.  Almost immediately, I felt an urgency in my heart to save my family from drifting further apart.  I tried church after church, reached out to ministries for guidance and prayed without ceasing for answers. 

​

Through all of this, God revealed something powerful: If I couldn't find a place that helped families like mine, maybe He ws calling me to build one.  That's how Rekindling Hearts and Homes was born - a retreat experience designed not only for personal spiritual growth but for whole families to grow stronger together in Christ. 

​

Before starting this, I spent years balancing work and family, often feeling like I was just surviving instead of thriving.  As I began writing my testimony and I started a blog called "Straightened Paths" to encourage others  That is when I realized that there are countless families struggling, just like mine.  

​

Now through retreats, workshops and resources, I am using my story - and God's grace - to create spaces where families can heal, reconnect and thrive.  Whether it's through a campfire conversation, uplifting worship or hands-on activities, everything we do is designed with one goal in mind: to restore families with God at the center. 

​

What matters most to me is my faith, family unity and restoration.  My heart beats for families and that's why everything that I do flows from these core values.  My commitment to you is simple: when you step into one of our retreats, you and your family will be welcomed with open arms, encouraged with truth, and given practical ways to grow closer - to God and each other.

What sets Rekindling Hearts and Homes apart is that it isn't just another retreat - it's born out of real life.  I don't come from a perfect family, and I am not offering a quick fix.  I am walking this road right alongside you.

That's why our retreats are designed to feel like home: filled with laughter, prayer, worship, practical family building activities, and a whole lot of grace.  I believe God is raising up a generation of families who won't just survive the enemy's attacks - they'll stand stronger than ever before.
